在前作《创圣大天使》中，故事设定在创圣纪0011年，地球上的人类由于11年前的大异变而失去了三分之二的人口。南极冰层溶化使得被认为1万2千年前已灭亡的“堕天翅族”亚特兰蒂亚复苏，他们将生物机械兵器“神话兽”接连送入人类都市捕获人类的生体能源“Purana”，决心反击的人类从海底遗迹发掘岀三台组合战斗机“Vector Machine”──1万2千年前将堕天翅族逼入灭亡绝境的传说中的兵器。这部于05年播出的TV动画，在7年后的2012年1月番再次上演新的传说，延续1万2千年前的传说。 在新的故事中，男主角的名字已经确认为阿马塔，其设定为虽然看上去有些弱气及容易动摇，但一遇上要保护的事物时，就会比其他人更为坚强，这样的阿马塔也已经确认由近期不少作品也找他来当主角的梶裕贵担任，继《罪恶王冠》之后，梶裕贵再次突破天际。已本作的两位女主角也已经确认为是米可罗及洁西卡，两人分别由茅野爱衣及花泽香菜担当，这三人组合在《罪恶王冠》里已经一起主演了，今次《创圣大天使EVOL》将这组合再次搬上，而且花泽香菜配声的洁西卡更是女主角之一，气份当然不会少了。另外，本作的声优还有中村悠一、浪川大辅、铃村健一及中岛爱等，都是一些人气不错的常见声优们。 继《创圣大天使》的经典同名主题曲《创圣大天使》，这次的《创圣大天使EVOL》再次找来AKINO担任主唱。新主题曲的名字再叫作《君之神话 ~创圣大天使第二章》，负责编曲及作曲的当然仍是菅野洋子，在这次公开的新PV中已经能够率先试听，在本PV中，大家当然还能看到SATELIGHT及河森正治出色的大天使设定，全CGI的制作，其流畅度、设计及战斗都真不是其他制作社能够比拟的，这样的大作大家也没理由不看吧。
